The Buick division of General Motors officially unveils the 2010 Lacrosse during the Detroit Auto Show.

GM designers claim that the new Lacrosse is truly a global car with its façade designed in the United States, its inside crafted in China, and the platform done in Europe by Opel. The car was pulled from the DNA of the invicta shown during the 2008 auto show in Beijing.

The Lacrosse is undeniably a Buick when one sees the waterfall grille and the portholes on the hood.

The interior of the 2010 Buick Lacrosse exudes elegance with the two-tone theme highlighted by the blue ambiance of the lighting. The interior noise is controlled by the QuietTuning, making it ideal for the occupants to enjoy the entertainment or gadget they are hooked onto.

Some tech amenities of the car include USB connection, in-dash navigation system, Bluetooth capabilities, and aux audio input. The rear passengers will have an enjoyable trip with a DVD system that can be set up to have 2-display screens.

The car is also equipped with a rear view camera, side blind alert, and a head-up display.

The car does not only talk the talk but can walk the talk with a powerful engine under its hood. The Lacrosse will be sold in 3 variants: the CX, CXL, and the CXS.

The basic release will be the CX which will sport a 3.0L V6 engine with an output of 255 horsepower. This is coupled with a six speed transmission.

The CXL is an upgrade of the CX with amenities like heated seats, fog lamps, automatic climate control, and signal lights on the side mirrors. This variant is also available as an all-wheel drive.

The CXS has a powerful 3.6L V6 engine with a roar of 280 horsepower. Aside from the features of the lower models, this one gets an active real time damping suspension system and 18 inch wheels with chrome.
