When you think about it – you know that Toyota is definitely at the top of the food chain not only for its sales in cars, but also because it is thinking fresh and new and it is certainly a company that is changing with the times. Take the newest member of the family – the Toyota Prius PHEV. This is a car that is not only going to be able to plug-in, but for the first time ever … this is a car that is going to be awesome.

The Toyota Prius PHEV is actually going to be equipped with a lithium-ion battery pack and the beautiful hybrid synergy drive system has actually been upgraded. The Prius is actually going to be able to operate under the EV mode, which speeds up to about 62 mph for 12.5 miles.

The Toyota Prius PHEV is going to be one car that everyone wants … as it will save you a ton of money on gas!

I like this touring edition Toyota Prius… It’s one of the best hybrid cars ever built (duh!) and it’s a looker too! Me Likey!

If Toyota’s going to keep designing cars looking this good I’m pretty impressed… I suggest they give these guys a raise!

The new Prius looks like… a box.

They’d have to pay me A LOT of money to drive around in one of these if it ends up looking anything like these spy shots.
